Question: I might get it wrong but from what you say it follows there’s no any necessity to continue one’s generation, is there?
Answer: Our philosophy is not that you leave your family in this life. But by the arrangement of the laws of nature you do leave your family when you leave your body. It’s just the design, that’s the way it works. And then the next life you have a new family: a new mother, a new father, new brothers, sisters, whatever; you meet another person, get married again. This is just the arrangement of the material world. If there’s an incredible attachment, you may follow each other around from one life to another, but it’s not very often. And that’s definitely not the goal. The goal is to develop a new attachment to the Supreme Lord.
