Question: How often to eat?

Answer:
It depends on your bodily constitution. Some people, kapha constitution they call it, their body retains water and the metabolism is very slow. And it’s best for them to eat once a day and maybe have something very light at another time. And it’s best that meal should be around 11 in the morning till 2 in the afternoon. That’s the best for them.

Whereas, pitta constitution persons, their metabolism is very fast. They can eat four times a day.

Vata, they are always having problems with digestion: a lot of air, a lot of wind. So they should eat small amounts, maybe three times a day. Some of them prefer to eat two times a day.

So it’s very variable.
