In spring 2012 Balakhilya das made his first visit to Almaty, the capital of sunny Kazakhstan. The nature around the city was really impressive: majestic mountains, the Butakovka river, the Big Almaty Lake with its emerald waters. But the city itself is a metropolis, which is constantly in motion. Hurrying here and there, taxis and cars create a feeling of perpetual bustle.
Balakhilya das gave several lectures and follow-up meditation classes. As there was a big response and interest among Almaty residents, he visited the city with a similar program in September 2012.
